rainy days.
00:00 / 01:04
I used to hate rainy days.
The stillness. The grey. The quiet.
But then —
I learned to watch the rain.
Not rush past it.
Not drown under it.
Just… sit.
The world moves slower in July.
So I did too.
No more back-to-back meetings.
No more pretending to be busy.
Just tea.
A pen.
And pages that didn’t mind my silence.
Some days, all we need is to feel small.
And safe.
Inside.
While the world dances in the storm.
I used to chase clarity.
Now I wait for it.
Like sunlight through curtains.
Or that one message that says:
“Take your time. I’m here.”
Maybe that’s what rain teaches us.
Presence.
Patience.
Peace.
Until the sun comes back.
And we’re ready again.
Love,
Dhruv.
There is nothing better than a hot cup of chai with a view.
